Folio 6 has no new heading but the entries use much more Latin than the previous accounts and are written in a different hand, suggesting that an intervening leaf with the beginning of the new account has been lost (because of the repair of this manuscript, one cannot tell from the leaves themselves). The first entry on this leaf is for rent due at Michaelmas 13 Edward IV, so if the accounting year remains the same for this account as for the previous ones, it would have run from the feast of John the Baptist (24 June) of 1473 to the same feast in 1474.

Although Andover was one of Hampshire's larger towns in the fifteenth century, it had only a single parish, St Mary's. The churchwardens' accounts for the three years from 1470 to 1473 detail the parish's income and expenditures. The accounting year ran from one feast of John the Baptist (24 June) to the next. In addition to the usual items, the accounts include references to ringing when George Plantagenet (1449–78), 3rd duke of Clarence, and his wife Isabel (b. Neville) (1451–76) came to town, as well as expenses for the Easter sepulchre.
