The items concerning copes for children on ff 112 and 113 are likely to have been worn in the boy bishop ceremony at St Swithun's Priory that occurred annually from the fourteenth century right up to the Dissolution (see, for example, the hordarian's accounts from 1326–37 and Sacrist's Accounts of St Swithun's Priory, 1536–7).

3 October 1552; English; parchment; 7 leaves; 330mm x 220mm, conserved into parchment sheets of 415mm x 300mm; modern foliation ff 111–16, final leaf unnumbered; contained within a bound volume with brown cloth covered boards and tan leather corners and spine, catalogued as E 315/494 and also containing E 315/494/1, title on spine: 'E.|315|94.'
